Anna Rudakowska started her work at the IES as a PhD researcher in the framework of the project ‘The European Union Policy on Greater China’. In her PhD thesis, she questions the Role of Values in European Union Policies towards China and Taiwan. Contrary to the traditional treatment of values as a causal factor in the analysis of the EU policies towards China and Taiwan, this dissertation focuses on their limiting and enabling roles in communication processes.
