| The candidates of 2021 Center for Chinese Studies Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese have been confirmed. 100 applicants were reviewed by the reviewing committee, consisting of six experts and held by Director General Ms. Tseng Shu-hsien, on August 25th, 2020.
Based on the reviewing result, 20 approved candidates and 34 alternative candidates from 20 countries are selected as 2021 Center for Chinese Studies Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese candidates. The full list is as follows in alphabetical order by country.

Call for Papers: “The Negotiations, Divisions and Conjoinings of the Three Teachings” Special Issue |
| The December 2021 issue of Chinese Studies will be a special issue entitled “The Negotiations, Divisions and Conjoinings of the Three Teachings” and guest-edited by Hsi-San Lai 賴錫三, professor at the Department of Chinese Literature, National Sun Yat-sen University. Papers may be submitted in either Chinese or English. Submissions in Chinese should not exceed 25,000 characters, and those in English should not exceed 30 pages. Length and style should follow the “Guide for Submissions to Chinese Studies” and “Chinese Studies Stylesheet.”More |

| National Central Library organized a series of Foreign Scholars Workshop Curriculum. Starting from May to October, this Workshop Curriculum based on different topics to guide the visiting scholars through the research equipment and facility of our National Central Library. This workshop series aims at promoting academic exchange and better acquaint with research materials in Taiwan, and we open to all the foreign scholars from academic institutions and universities in Taiwan.
