2024 CCS Workshop for International Youth
國際青年漢學研習班
國家圖書館自2022起規劃舉辦國際青年漢學研習班，旨在增進在臺之國際青年學生，認識臺灣漢學研究的多元主題及數位學術資源。今年研習班將以「文化藝術」為主題，邀請館內外相關領域之學者以英文分享漢學研究經驗、漢學數位資源及研究工具。同時配合課程主題，安排參訪國家圖書館善本書室、修裱室、何創時書法博物館以及樹火紙博物館，讓參與者有機會觀察中式古籍修復過程、體驗書法創作及進行手工造紙。歡迎外籍學生踴躍報名。
Since 2022, the National Central Library of Taiwan has been organizing an introductory workshop that bring together non-native Chinese learners and prospective Sinologists in Taiwan to foster a deeper understanding of Taiwan's diverse research themes in Sinology, as well as to introduce them to potential research directions and digital academic resources in Taiwan.
Workshop Overview:
Each annual workshop focuses on a specific theme, around which the curriculum is designed. The workshop will feature a keynote speech, two lecture courses, the guided tour of the NCL, Taiwan’s characteristic cultural and educational institutions, museums, etc. The theme of the 2024 workshop will be planned with the art of Chinese calligraphy and painting. During these excursions, participants could have the opportunity to observe the ancient book restoration process, engage in calligraphy practice, and experience the craft of handmade papermaking.
