Papers from the Second International Seminar on Tun-Huang Studies


This collection contains 37 papers delivered at the Seminar on Chinese Social and Economic History in July 1990, which was sponsored by the Department of Chinese at Chinese Culture University and cosponsored by the Center for Chinese Studies. The papers cover a wide range of topics, from historical figures (Wang Tao-shih) and the overseas exodus of Tun-huang artifacts to interpretation of Tun-huang scrolls, shedding light on medieval Chinese history, literature, society, economics, politics and military affairs.
