The Center offers the following Chinese Studies resources:
Books and journals from Mainland China: There are over 180,000 books in the fields of literature, history, philosophy, social sciences, art, and archeology, as well as 1,600 different academic journals.
Photo Reprints of Rare Books in Overseas Libraries:
The Center has made photo reprints of editions that have been lost or are not fully preserved in domestic libraries, but are extant overseas. Currently, there are collections of classical texts, Ming dynasty political documents, Ming and Qing gazetteers, and collections of Ming literati.
Western-language Dissertations in Chinese Studies:
The Center has collected more than 10,000 western-language dissertations on fields related to Chinese Studies from universities in the United States, Canada, Leiden University in the Netherlands, and elsewhere.
Newly-revised Gazetteers from Mainland China:
The Center has acquired more than 10,000 county and provincial gazetteers from Mainland China, making it one of the most complete collections of Chinese gazetteers in Taiwan.
