Library Instructions for Foreign Scholars (4) Visiting Academia Historica

To promote a deeper understanding and more effective utilization of Taiwan’s academic resources among international scholars, the National Central Library convened the fourth session of its “Library Instructions for Foreign Scholars” initiative on June 25, 2025. This installment included a scholarly excursion to Academia Historica, where Director Li Jing-Yan delivered an in-depth exposition on the institution’s historical evolution, principal archival collections, and the capabilities of its online searching system. Attendees also engaged with the thematic exhibition From Archives to Exhibition, which elucidated methodologies of archival curation and interpretive presentation. The program welcomed 29 scholars representing 17 countries, facilitating cross-cultural academic exchange and reinforcing engagement with Taiwan’s infrastructure for historical research.
