Report on CCS Activities
The Second Course of Library Curriculum for International Scholars for CCS  

    On Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, Center for Chinese Studies held the second course of Library Curriculum, SRDA-Survey Research Data Archive, for International Scholars. The series of the curriculum is for international scholars of ‘MOFA Taiwan Fellowship’ and ‘Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies’ to attain more understanding in the research database and online resources in Taiwan.

    The lecturer was Mr. Yu-tsai Wang, who is the project manager of Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences of Academia Sinica, to introduce the SRDA-Survey Research Data Archive. SRDA is the biggest database for social science which includes the Panel Study of Family Dynamics, Social Changes Archives, and Taiwan Education Panel Survey etc.

    There were twenty-six international scholars from twelve countries who attended the course. They are pleased to learn about how to use the resources and database in Taiwan.
