On Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, Center for Chinese Studies held the first course of Library Curriculum for International Scholars. The series of the curriculum is for international scholars of ‘MOFA Taiwan Fellowship’ and ‘Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies’ to obtain more understanding in the research data base and online resources in Taiwan.
The lecturer was Dr. Anne Ling Fang Wei, who is the head of CCS Materials Division, to provide academic research & research support in Taiwan. Dr Wei introduced the online database of National Central Library as the National Central Library Online Catalog, the National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan, NBINet Union Catalog, and NCL Taiwan Periodical Literature etc.
There were twenty-five international scholars from sixteen countries to attend the course. They are pleased to learn how to use the resources and database in Taiwan.
