| NCL Invited Prof. Yu-yu Cheng to Give Taiwan Lectures on
Chinese Studies in Malaysia
On October 15, NCL hold the seventh "Taiwan Lectures on Chinese
Studies" in 2019 University of Malaya, Malaysia.
This lecture invited Prof. Yu-yu Cheng, Academician of Academia
Sinica to give the lecture entitled ““Utterability” and “Embodiment”:
The Contexts of Chinese Language in the Poetic and Literary Revolutions”.
With this speech, Prof. Cheng explained the “modern” transformation
of Chinese poetry had already been proclaimed at the beginning of the
twentieth century. This Lecture attracted more than 150 audiences attended.
The University of Malaya is one of the “Taiwan Resource Center for
Chinese Studies (TRCCS)” partners with NCL. |
