NCL Co-host Taiwan Lectures on Chinese Studies with University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) NCL co-host with University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), USA, invited Prof. Joyce C. H. Liu, Chair Professor of National Chiao Tung University to deliver speech on October 24. This lecture is not only the eighth, but also the last session of “Taiwan Lectures on Chinese Studies” in 2019. The title of the lecture was “ Aestheticization of Neoliberal Capitalism versus the Politics of Aesthetics: On the Artistic Intervention by Xu Bing and Chen Chieh-Jen ” . Prof. Liu’s lecture attracted many Sinology researchers in California area, and round all 8 lectures off with a lively session.
